
C. Anthony Mulrain is a Partner in Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP's Corporate Department and Chair of the firm's Motion Picture, Television, and Sports Sections. Mr. Mulrain’s entertainment and media practice is national in scope and includes negotiating business transactions for actors, writers, producers and directors in the television and motion picture industries. His clients have played prominent roles on television shows and in films including “A Current Affair”, “All of Us”, “CSI: New York”, “Everybody Hates Chris,” “Extra,” “House of Carters,” “Judge Judy,” “Lackawana Blues,” “Mr. 3000,” “One on One,” “Snakes On A Plane,” “The Tyra Banks Show,” “The Wire” and “Wild Hogs.” Mr. Mulrain also maintains a dynamic music practice which includes the representation of producers, lyricists and high profile recording artists that have sold over 100 Million Albums.
In addition to representing talent in the television, film and music industries, Mr. Mulrain counsels accredited, sophisticated and institutional investors, domestically and abroad, on investments in the entertainment business. His wide ranging experience includes project financing, co-financing and co-productions in both the music and motion picture industries.
Additionally, Mr. Mulrain serves as general counsel to a number of elite NBA, NFL and MLB Players and sports agents representing at least one overall number one draft pick in two of the three major professional sports.
Mr. Mulrain’s corporate practice is broad in scope and includes the strategic counseling and handling of business transactions for public and private companies in a variety of sectors including media, publishing, apparel, food services, insurance, real estate, tobacco and telecommunications. His practice also includes negotiating executive employment, compensation and severance packages.
Mr. Mulrain is a Director of the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyer's Association, Inc. and received the "Top 40 Under Forty" Achievement Award from The Network Journal in 2004 . He also was named to Who’s Who in American Law, 2007-2008.

Representative Experience

Successful litigation in connection with a federally licensed wireless telecommunications concern against a local government that resulted in, at that time, the largest money damages award ever granted to a wireless carrier against a municipal government , valued at $1.6 million (Omnipoint v. City of White Plains, New York et al., S.D.N.Y. 2003).
